If you can visit just one place in Poland, then Kraków (pronounced Krah-koov) is the one to see. The Old City was lucky to survive all the wars intact, and its (mostly) Renaissance architecture is a delight, not spoiled by modern urban development. Add good food and lots of cultural activities, and visiting Kraków becomes a must.

Usually I do not apply any special effects to my photographs, but this time the temptation was too strong...
